Why do I see multiple charges on my card?
Seeing more than one entry on your bank or card statement can be confusing, but it does not always mean you have been charged multiple times. In many cases, additional entries are temporary authorizations your bank places to verify funds before the final charge is settled. These pending authorizations usually disappear automatically after a short period.
If you placed more than one order or refreshed your payment page several times, your bank may show several pending entries, even though only one final payment is collected. Whenever you are unsure, you can compare the amounts against your order confirmation emails or contact your bank for clarification.
Common reasons for multiple entries include:
- Temporary authorizations created when the bank verifies your card.
- Currency conversion or international transaction adjustments.
- Separate entries for different orders placed within a short timeframe.
- Declined attempts that still show as pending but will later drop off.
